Download the book using a local server

Local server — the application allows users to transfer audio files to the application on the device in the user network. To transfer using Wi-Fi connection.

Transferring files to your device using the USB connection is not supported.

• Download and install on your local computer Digital Audio Book Server (.NET Framework 4.5 required).
• Using the Digital Audio Book Server create meta description of the book and start the server.

• Open the Digital Audio Book on the device. From library pivot go to the downloads page.

• Go to the «rss» tab, fill in the address field, the address that generated the local server.

The application remembers the last URL and it automatically fills the input field. When entering a new URL will be prompted to enter a previously used URL from the drop-down list. Total application stores 30 recently used URL.

At the end of the address entering, press the button Кнопарь or the Enter key on the keyboard application.

When the application error message:

Check whether the URL and the fact that the local server is running. Check the working of the server can be typing the URL in the address bar of the browser, the browser should display the rss feed.

• After the exchange of information about the book to the local server application will redirect you to the book preview page.

If at the stage of meta descriptions generation were not filled book fields such as: name, author, or narrator you can do so on this page. In addition to displaying the summary information on the size, duration, and number of files app will check the available space on the device and with a shortage of space to download the book, you will get a message and «download» button will be disabled.

• Click the «download» button on the Application Bar, Digital Audio Book will start downloading. You will be moved back to the download page in the «downloads» tab.

Download queue Windows Phone 8 may contain only 25 elements (two active), and if the book consists of many files, due to the limitation on the application to work in the background, while deactivating the application to your download queue will not be automatically updated. It is therefore recommended at the time of loading of the book from time to time to activate the application.
